Chia seeds waffles


During my traveling around the United States I discovered this super easy and very healthy recipe for waffles or pancakes. You can make them wherever you are without any special equipment. They are delicious with maple syrup or with some jam. ;)

Servings: 2.


  • 5 eggs,
  • 5 Tbsp melted ghee,
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream,
  • 4 Tbsp ground chia seeds,
  • 1 tsp cinnamon,
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda,
  • pinch of salt,
  • 1 Tbsp sweetener (optional).


  1. whisk eggs and mix them with ghee and coconit cream,
  2. in another bowl mix every other dry ingredients,
  3. mix all together and let it stay for 30 minutes,
  4. make waffles or pancakes.

  1. Interesting recipe! I only have a doubt: how can 4Tsp hold together 5 eggs? Looks like it will be more a frittata than a pancake…

  2. It really works. When you fry it for a little bit longer time it can be also crispy.
